Seeking relief for cutaneous lesions from your metastatic breast cancer?
Consider enrolling in the KTI-21-01 study.
Are you or someone you love living with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the skin? A clinical research trial is testing a new investigational treatment called REM-001 Therapy, and we are looking for participants with cutaneous metastatic breast cancer (CMBC) that is refractory or not eligible for radiotherapy or surgery. Other study requirements must be met for eligibility.
REM-001 is a light-activated drug used in a treatment called photodynamic therapy. It targets cancer cells by using a special laser light directed at the skin lesions, to activate the drug, which then works to destroy the cancer cells. This research study is looking to determine if this investigational treatment may help people with CMBC, as well as the safety of the treatment.
