This week is the anniversary of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake with a loss of life of 185 people, many of them students from around the globe.
The central city business area was destroyed, with more than 70% of the cost attributable to non structural damage. Out of the carnage, two new seismic bracing solutions emerged- GRIDLOK for Ceilings and BRACELOK for part high walls. Both are widely used in Australia, New Zealand and the US. With the highest certification available through OSHPD, we save lives, reduce interstitial clashes and provide consistent installs at a fraction of traditional processes. Christchurch continues to rebuild with the knowledge that both new and retrofitted environments are protected by these innovations, born out of tragedy, but providing greater safety to millions of people globally.

It was great seeing you at the 42nd Annual CASH Conference in Palm Springs! The conference was a great success for all, and the trade show allowed us to meet so many new and existing contacts.
It was really great to connect in person after so many months of being in Covid hibernation.
We leave refreshed, inspired, and informed with the latest news and industry trends learned over the past few days!

Another great project we have been part of, the MarinHealth Medical Center. Performance Contracting were the contractor for the ceilings, using GRIDLOK® for bracing ceilings with OSHPD approval. Read more!

MarinHealth Medical Center is a $535 million replacement for Marin General Hospital just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, in Greenbrae.

This was the first year BRACELOK® have attended this event, and it far exceeded our expectations. People in the industry respect the fact that BRACELOK® came into the U.S. market on the basis that we would first obtain the certifications and then go to market with these solutions, rather than promise that we would obtain these certifications.
