Today, we are celebrating a truly special milestone as one of our outstanding plumbers, Peggy Bearden, heads into retirement after an incredible 30-year career as a journeyman plumber.
Peggy, thank you for your dedication, craftsmanship, and the pride you brought to your work every single day. Your commitment to excellence and the positive impact you’ve had on our entire organization has been tangible.
As a woman in construction, making your way through the union, other speciality contractors, and finally Pac Rim, you navigated unique challenges, uphill climbs, and at times outdated ways of thinking in an industry that wasn't always what it is today. Your perseverance, resilience, and determination not only shaped your own path but also helped pave the way for others in the industry.
From all of us, thank you for your years of hard work, mentorship, and professionalism. We wish you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and new adventures in this next chapter of life.
“Peggy has been instrumental in the service plumbing industry, earning the respect and appreciation of her customers through hard work, long days, and unwavering dedication to her team and service department. If there’s one thing everyone knows, it’s that the quickest way to motivate her is to say, “I’m not sure you can do it.” She embraces the challenge and always finds a creative way to get the job done.” - Wayne Smith, Plumbing Service Manager
Congratulations on your retirement, Peggy, you’ve more than earned it!
