What a performance! Deep in the wee hours of Sunday morning, the Reichel/Pugh-designed Black Jack 100 crossed the finish line in Bermuda to claim MONOHULL LINE HONORS in the 2026 Newport to Bermuda Race!
Skippered by Tristan Le Brun and owned by Remon Vos, the professional crew completed the 636nm course in 1 day, 11 hours, 26 minutes, and 46 seconds—less than an hour away from the legendary 2016 course record!
Not only were they the first monohull home, but Black Jack 100 is also currently winning on corrected time in the no-holds-barred Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Division.
This iconic 100-foot racing supermaxi (originally launched as Alfa Romeo II) continues to show the world that great design is timeless. From the 2025 Rolex Fastnet and Middle Sea Races to the 2026 RORC Caribbean 600, and now the Thrash to the Onion Patch—this boat and her crew are unstoppable.
Congratulations to Remon Vos and the entire Black Jack team on an incredible achievement!
