¿Y si las comunidades energéticas fuesen la norma, y no la excepción?

En los últimos años, hemos visto una tendencia en aumento hacia el autoconsumo. La transición energética no puede esperar y, poco a poco, esta necesidad va calando en la ciudadanía que ha decidido invertir en energía renovable.

Aún hay mucho por hacer y por mejorar. Una lucha a contrarreloj donde la palabra “cooperación” es fundamental.

Entre todos podemos acelerar la transición energética. Hagámoslo posible.

What if energy communities were the norm, not the exception?

In recent years, we have seen an increasing trend towards self-consumption. The energy transition cannot wait and, little by little, this need is permeating the citizens who have decided to invest in renewable energy.

There is still much to do and to improve. A fight against the clock where the word "cooperation" is essential.

Together we can accelerate the energy transition. Let's make it possible.

2020 ha sido un año muy curioso. Entre otras cuestiones porque asistimos a la mayor reducción de emisiones desde 1900. El covid llegó, paralizó el mundo y, mientras conteníamos el aliento, el planeta respiró profundamente, por primera vez en 20 años.

Hoy es el Día Mundial del Ahorro de Energía y qué mejor momento para recordar que necesitamos cambiar de hábitos. Tenemos que dejar de consumir el mundo en el que vivimos si es que queremos seguir viviendo en él y eso solo lo conseguiremos mediante prácticas amables, responsables, limpias y eficientes.

Todos los días deberían ser el día del ahorro de energía. Juntos podemos conseguirlo.

2020 has been a very curious year. Among other issues, because we are witnessing the largest reduction in emissions since 1900. The covid arrived, paralyzed the world and, while we held our breath, the planet took a deep breath, for the first time in 20 years.

Today is World Energy Saving Day and what better time to remember that we need to change our habits. We have to stop consuming the world we live in if we want to continue living in it and we will only achieve that through friendly, responsible, clean and efficient practices.

Every day should be Energy Saving Day. Together we can achieve it.

Llegar a una energía sostenible solo es posible si lo hacemos de forma global. ¿Somos realmente conscientes de esto?

Dicen que la unión hace la fuerza, y es que hay batallas que, para ser ganadas, necesitan colaboración. El tiempo y nos queda una única opción: ser sostenibles.

Frente al cambio climático debemos actuar en conjunto, ser responsables, eficientes, apostar por la tecnología e innovar. Tenemos que juntar manos y esfuerzos, porque, por pequeños que nos puedan parecer los cambios que generamos cada uno, la única opción que no tiene futuro, es no proteger ese futuro..

Do we realize that reaching sustainable energy is only possible if we face it globally?

They say that unity is strength, and there are battles that, to be won, need collaboration. The countdown is on and we have only one option left: to be sustainable.

Faced with climate change, we must act together, be responsible, efficient, bet on technology and innovate. We have to join hands and not give up our efforts, because, however small they may seem, the only thing that has no future is not to build it.

Necesitamos acciones reales frente a la emergencia climática. Acciones que se perciban en el día a día y cambien, de una vez por todas, nuestra manera de relacionarnos con el mundo.

Hablemos claro, vivimos en burbujas de comodidad. La cotidianidad nos absorbe y perdemos la noción de que el planeta es mucho más grande que aquello que tenemos a nuestro lado.

Por ello, y para apoyar la transición energética, necesitamos incorporar ya todas esas prácticas que, además de ser más sostenibles, nos mejoran la vida y reducen nuestros costes.

El momento de actuar es ahora y la aplicación práctica, medible y con repercusiones inmediatas es una vía fundamental.

We need real actions in the face of the climate emergency. Actions that are perceived on a day-to-day basis and change, once and for all, our way of relating to the world.

Let's be clear, we live in bubbles of comfort. Everyday life absorbs us and we lose the notion that the planet is much bigger than what we have next to us.

For this reason, and to support the energy transition, we need to incorporate all those practices that, in addition to being more sustainable, improve our lives and reduce our costs.

The time to act is now, and practical, measurable, and immediate implementation is a critical pathway.

Que la única forma de ser rentable, sea ser sostenible. ¿Estamos avanzando suficientemente rápido en este sentido?

Necesitamos que todos los actores de la sociedad se involucren; ciudadanos, instituciones y empresas trabajando juntas en pos de un futuro mejor. Sin embargo, no vale con medidas a medio cocer, y el uso del adjetivo “verde” como una coletilla que por simple hecho de ser dicha, lo solucionase todo.

Las previsiones son devastadoras y no nos queda tiempo. En una economía de mercado global el dinero lo es todo, pero no podemos olvidar que sin un futuro… El dinero no tiene valor.

Si las soluciones para el sector energético no son rentables, puede que lleguemos tarde. ¿Asumimos el desafío?

The only way to be profitable is to be sustainable. Are we moving fast enough in this regard?

We need the involvement of all the actors; citizens, institutions and companies working together for a better future. However, it is not valid with half-cooked measures, and the use of the adjective "green" as a tagline that by simple fact of being said, would solve everything.

The forecasts are devastating and we don't have time. In a global market economy, money is everything, but we cannot forget that without a future… Money has no value.

If solutions for the energy sector are not profitable, we may be late. Do we take up the challenge?
