Just getting started transferring the load on the mezzanine to the building columns. 10,000 ft 85,000 pounds of steel. Lots of work. 😎

Some pictures of the last few weeks. Finally putting steel on the roof after months of planning and waiting on weather and operations to align. 7 of 18 frames on the roof, hopefully two more next week. A little over 60,000 lb of steel in total. We'll be starting another job as we wrap this one up on the inside of the building, installing a little over 85,000 lb of steel. This job involves temporarily supporting 10,000 ft² of automated conveyor systems in order to take weight off of a mezzanine by adding structural steel to the columns of the building that will carry the load that is currently on the mezzanine in order to use the mezzanine for other things and not be overloaded. Lots of planning with that job as well, and lots of work.

Well looks like we'll be done for a while after all this snow I was hoping to have this on the roof before Christmas but there's lots of moving parts with this job. Everything is halfway built ready to go up but the weather just isn't cooperating. About 50,000 lb of steel frames for new rooftop units.

Another water slide down, this one is "the hive" at Roaring Springs water park in Meridian Idaho. The next slides will be in Virginia at a brand new Massanutten Resort this spring!
