ANSWERS
1) While Herbert Hoover had initially installed AC in the first AC system in the Oval Office, it was a pretty non-functional system. When Franklin Roosevelt took office next, he installed a significantly better and more functional system. Since this question was a bit confusing, we didn’t count it towards the final tally, but did get this right, giving him our only perfect 5/5 score!
2) American Standard / Trane tied for the most reliable Heat Pump & AC. Did you know that while is commonly associated with plumbing, they’ve been a major player in the AC market since the 1950’s?! We’re proud to work with to get top of the line American Standard equipment!
3) Most of the “dust” you see in your filters is actually dead skin & hair! Ick!! A good reminder to clean them regularly!
4) While a fridge is technically an AC, leaving the doors open requires the motor to work significantly harder, thus creating more heat. This offsets the cool air it produces.
5) On a humid day, 10-20 gallons can be removed by your AC system! That’s 10-20 gallons of water that get pulled out of your home, reducing humidity and the change for organic growth.
