Here in Northwest Louisiana we are entering The Fall season which is oftentimes a season of high humidity. This means that your air conditioner will be pulling out even more water. Make sure you're adding one cup of bleach once a month or thereabout to your drain line. This will help to prevent it from backing up and possibly damaging your house.

If your A-coil drain pan is retaining a higher level of water than is common, it could be due to improper installation like this one. In this case, back up drain plug was used and it is 3/8 an inch higher than primary plug which you see from the picture is still installed.
