Customer had a patio that was in need of an update. I cleaned, replaced the screens, replaced broken and rotted trim, and painted to provide years of maintenance free use.

Client approached me regarding approximately 15 floor tiles having cracks in them. I investigated the crawl space and found no sagging or damage to the floor joists. Removed one of the broken tiles and found the tiles had not been set properly and there was very little adhesion between the thin set and the tile. There was an HVAC floor vent in the middle of the kitchen, a remnant of the original installation that no longer made sense with a recent kitchen remodel. It was determined that while I was repairing the tile it would be the right time to move the vent and convert it to an under cabinet toe kick vent. I cut the new hole from the crawl space as the cabinets and countertops would not allow me to access the space from above. I extended the HVAC line and altered the toe kick to create a seamless look. Unfortunately the original tiles were no longer manufactured. Tiles that resembled the original were available but in larger format requiring the tiles to be cut both length and width to match. Finished product closely resembles the original and the floor vent is no longer in the middle of the kitchen.

Converted a garage from three one car doors to two two car doors. Installed a temporary support wall and removed doors and support structure. Then installed new sills, jacks, kings, and lvl beams.

Replaced old chip board crawlspace door with a door I constructed out of pressure treated lumber to match existing window shutters to provide a clean continuous look.

Water damaged bookshelf repair. Sanded down imperfections and repaired damaged spots with wood filler. Finished up with caulking and paint to match to provide a like new finish.

The customer wanted their old plywood stairs gone and updated to something to match the beauty of the rest of the house. I removed the old stairs and installed new oak treads and risers. I repaired the damaged drywall while I had access to those areas. I added the handrail and stained everything to match and sealed everything to provide years of hassle free use.
