On a sunny day this past week we got a chance to work on our Tiny Home Airbnb Property. We rented a skid steer from Corner Rental in Siloam to haul off a pile of dirt in front of the house.

Looking at buying land to build your dream home?

We help you assess the land for building compatibility. Give us a call, pay the small bid fee, and we will do the following:

1. Assess your land
2. Offer insight into house design
3. Help you navigate septic design, well digging, surveys, building/water/electric departments
4. Draw your plot plan (your house plan drawn in reference to property lines)
5. Create a detailed scope of work and give you a bid

F O U N D A T I O N - The Key To Success...

Ever wonder what goes into making a strong foundation? Well, keep reading!

1. Clear the land of trees and sod
2. Dig and pour the footings. Footings are critical, as the footing distributes the weight of the building evenly across the entire structure so that it doesn't sink into the ground.
3. We lay the block foundation walls, but that’s not where it stops!
4. After laying the block, we reinforce the walls with rebar and fill them with concrete to ensure they are stable enough for the next step. This also helps prevent cracking and breaking.
5. Backfill the area with gravel, treat the underslab area for termites, run plumbing and electrical conduit.
6. Top it with plastic and wire mesh. This helps minimize slab cracking and settling.

Now it's ready for the slab of concrete to be poured!

This person would need to...
• Be drug free and no felonies
• Have his own pickup truck able to haul a small tool trailer.
• Have his own basic tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure, speed square, etc.)
• Have a firm grasp on many types of remodeling (bathrooms, kitchens, additions, decks, etc.)
• Have 3+ years hands-on experience in remodeling
• Be willing to learn and work with a team
• Able to do physical labor for a 40hr work week.
• Able to work a smartphone or tablet
• Able to manage a jobsite (material ordering, subcontractor interactions, directing hired hands)
• Have some limited experience in new job assessments and estimating small jobs.
