Denver Metro & East of I-25 — Hail Alert
Severe storms with hail and high winds are headed our way this afternoon. If you live in the metro or east of I-25, now's the time to move vehicles under cover, secure outdoor items, and stay weather-aware.
Wind-driven hail is one of the most damaging combinations a roof can face. The wind drives hail at steeper angles, knocking granules off shingles and creating dents and fractures that often go unnoticed until leaks appear later. Add sustained gusts that loosen shingles and break seals, and even a short storm can mean real damage overhead.
Once the skies clear, you'll likely see door-knockers and out-of-area contractors in your neighborhood. Before you hand over a deposit or sign over your insurance check, know what to look for in a trustworthy roofer.
