Check out this before and after! 👀

This older three-season porch got a much-needed makeover, and what a difference!

We removed the old flooring, removed and installed new floor joists making the floor more solid, installed new flooring, added beadboard paneling, and finished everything off with beautiful natural pine trim around the windows and walls.

Working on older homes always comes with a few surprises! Nothing is ever perfectly straight or square, but that’s all part of the challenge. 💪

The end result? A fresh, clean, inviting space that the homeowner can enjoy for years to come!

At All Things Fixed, we take pride in bringing new life to old spaces, one project at a time!

📍 Proudly serving Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.

This project involved extensive prep, sanding, and staining of the existing deck railings, stairs, posts, and multiple sections of privacy fence. A lot of detail work went into bringing everything back to life and giving the entire backyard a clean, consistent finish.

The dark stain completely changed the look of the space and ties the deck and fencing together beautifully.

Definitely one of those projects where the finished result makes all the prep work worth it!

Deck restoration in progress! 🔨

This cedar railing had an old, failing finish that needed to come off before any new stain goes down. A whole lot of sanding later, we’re finally back to clean, fresh cedar and ready for the next step.

Prep work isn’t the glamorous part of deck restoration—but it’s what determines whether the finished product actually lasts. 💪

Next up: stain. Stay tuned for the finished result!

Finished up another deck project today! 🔨

This project included rebuilding the stair stringers and installing new PVC fascia for a clean, low-maintenance finish that will hold up for years to come.

It’s always the details that help improve both the appearance and the longevity of a deck.

If your deck could use repairs or updates, I’d be happy to take a look and discuss your options.
