My baby Jayden to the right here is graduating this year. I am so proud of him & thank his coach, my mother Judy Collins & his step father Bill Collins for helping him get through his struggles in school & really pushing him to do better as a person & in school. Once he joined Lacrosse & Football his coach in south hadley pushed him to be a better person as a whole. Helped him get his first job & really made him be accountable for himself!!!! Something we all need to do! Once that changed for him he works out everyday, goes to school everyday, goes to practice & it showed in his grades & his school work. I remember receiving emails every week before progress reports would come out from his coach telling the kids "progress reports come out next week, whoever needs to get there grades up better do so now, or else they will not be playing in the field". He was super tough on the kids, which I was super grateful for.

The only thing we need to work on now is his anxiety of driving. We need him to get his license & finish his on road classes. This is now his new goal I am making for him!

Has anyone noticed the increases of their electric bill for January, unfortunately this is only the beginning of our increases. We are likely to see 3 more coming from Eversource & National Grid, so the utility company can recuperate the money they went over budget on the hydroelectricity project from Canada. While all construction has halted & there’s no date to stsrt up again our governor signed off stating Massachusetts residents can pay this through their utility bills. As if our rates aren’t high enough. This is so redundant & ridiculous as you see they’ll always find reasons to increase your electricity bill. At least with solar you’re able to lock in a rate and budget your bill for many years down the road. You’ll alwsys know what it is. Especially after reading zillows article and how they are putting a filter in their system for people to find homes with solar. It’s becoming so valuable in Massachusetts and New England because our rates keep skyrocketing. Call me 413-427-7045. I’m happy to see how we can stabilize your bill so you don’t need to worry about unpredictable increases and you’d be reducing your consumption from the grid, lowering your monthly electric bill while producing clean energy. It’s a no brainer. I’ve even assisted residents in MA and NH receive free tree removal, helped paid for new roofs, and even electrical upgrades, if they needed them to go solar. It’s an amazing program we have here at Subrun & I fight for every customer. I am more of an advocate than a consultant and the best part is you don’t have to own it, so no upfront costs, but you get all the energy the system overproduces. You have the chance to buy it down the road for very little money if you choose to as well. Best of both worlds no lease, no liens , no loans, and no maintenance. Everything is covered under our warranty for the length of time you choose to have them. It’s a beautiful program, call me to learn more and see what upgrades your home may need that we can help pay for!

The world experienced the hottest month ever recorded last July—a dire, tangible example of how the climate crisis is worsening, while underscoring the fact that solutions have never been more crucial. These three energy brands are exploring innovative approaches to a crushing problem that range from the large to the small.

At the broad end of the spectrum, Sunrun is taking on the bold task of updating the United States power grid—for the first time since it was developed in the 1800s. At the same scale, Enel North America is working with the largest corporations in the country to clean up their carbon footprints. Air Company, on the other hand, is deeper in the weeds: The brand, which recently pivoted to the energy sector, wants to mitigate the impact of one specific industry—airlines—with a sustainable fuel made from captured carbon dioxide.

Sunrun recognizes that the United States power grid is horribly outdated—it hasn’t been updated since the 1800s. The energy company knows that modern problems require modern solutions, and it is leading the industry with its virtual power plant system (VPP). Sunrun’s VPP stores renewable energy, like sunlight, captured during the day at customers’ homes. The energy is then transported to a power grid and stored for use during times when energy is needed, such as at night, on particularly hot days that require a heavy lift from air conditioners, or during extreme weather. The company’s revolutionary approach to conserving energy also means being mindful of its cost. Sunrun’s dedication to the community led to a partnership with Chanel that raised more than $35 million to pay for cost-saving measures on the energy bills of 30,000 low-income residents in California.
