Our Story

On October 1st, 1979, Tim purchased A.H. Bechtold Construction from his grandfather, Art Bechtold. Since that time, Tim Smith Construction has worked for hundreds of customers on commercial and residential projects all over Whitley County and the surrounding areas. The business was based out of Columbia City until 1987 when operations moved to South Whitley where they remain today.
