Life has a way of reminding us what truly matters.

Shortly after celebrating my daughter’s Pre-K graduation, our family was faced with an unexpected hospitalization that required me to step away from work longer than anticipated. Watching your child fight through something difficult puts everything into perspective.

In those moments, the missed calls, schedules, estimates, and jobs all take a back seat. Time with our loved ones is priceless, and every day we have together is a gift.

I want to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, prayers, messages, and support during this time. They meant more to my family than you know.

Thankfully, Mila is doing much better, and seeing her smile again is a reminder that life is precious and should never be taken for granted.

Everything I do, every long day, every early morning, every sacrifice, is for my children and their future. They are my motivation, my purpose, and my greatest accomplishment.

I will be returning to work and will be reaching back out to everyone whose calls or messages I may have missed. Thank you for your continued support of my family and Year-Round Mechanical.

HVAC/R isn’t just a career in our family—it’s a legacy.

⚠️ STORY TIME ⚠️

In 2014, I had the opportunity to meet my father and my father’s side of the family for the first time. After years of searching for where I belonged, I finally felt a sense of connection and family.

What makes the story even more incredible is that my older brother, Rigo Lopez, and I had both chosen the HVAC/R trade before we even knew each other. We were each studying to become HVAC/R technicians, working for different companies, chasing the same goals without realizing it.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve both built businesses of our own.

My brother, Rigo Lopez, proudly owns Avid Refrigeration Inc., serving the Coachella Valley in California.

I am proud to own Year-Round Mechanical, serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Greater Central Connecticut area.

And at the center of it all is our father, Manuel Lopez, the longtime proprietor of Lopez Landscaping Inc., who recently retired after years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.

Three men. Three businesses. One family.
