A little video from the other day. I was asked to cut these spacers down to a certin length and then break both edges. Took me just over an hour to get them all done.

I am on the lathe today working on the pile of barrels. Tomorrow I am going to The Swamp (S&F Paintball Field) to shake off the rust at the mech wars event. Come join me!

Some work from this past weekend. Cut the tray down 1/2", fixed the breach threads on the black magic and freaked the barrel, fixed the second detent on the angel body and xl'd the barrel, a few feedneck mods, 3 more freaked barrels, and modded the frame for all boards.

I was flooded with work again last week and so my turnaround times have increased but the line is moving! Gonna put in a full weekend of work this weekend and then next weekend I am off for my family reunion/labor day weekend.

Work from the past 2 days, 6 hot off the lathe rethreaded dye tips and an axe gas through drop forward that needed helicoils installed. Today I am setting up the lathe to cut a some discontinued parts, which will take me all week to finish but tonight I am working on some G6R feedneck mods that I need to get finished before Monday.

Things are changing around here and all for the better! Its looking like I am gonna start planning to make the trip out to Florida Supergame in January 2027. 🫡

Quick heads up, I am having intermittent issues with FB messenger currently. I can see a message was sent but its taking 3-5 minutes to actuly show up so I can read and reply. If you sent a message in the past 2 days and I havent replied, shoot me another message.

I am trying to finish up some threading jobs this morning, then I have a few feednecks to do at the other shop this afternoon and then I have to completely take down my freak boring setup and set the lathe up to cut a discontinued part, this part is going to require 3 different setups, 2 on the lathe and one on the mill.

I am going to be very busy for the next 4 or 5 days. Once all that is done, I have a pile of barrels to freak.

Side note: we have multiple fires in the state and this past week the heat and smoke from the fires have really taken a toll on me. So things are not moving as fast as I normally would like.

The good news, the smoke is almost gone and the temps are dropping over the next few days so this will help.
