Murphy Company is proud to continue its partnership with Marson Foods on the ongoing Design/Build expansion of the U.S. Waffle Company production facility. We’re grateful for the continued collaboration with ACME and GECO , whose expertise remains instrumental to the success of this project.
Following the successful completion of Line 1 – Waffle Line, our team has made significant progress on Line 2 – Pancake Line, which features advanced processing and freezing technologies designed to support large-scale production and future growth.
Line 2 includes a state-of-the-art cryogenic freezer and packaging system - rarely used in food production facilities of this type - along with a Reading continuous mixing station, the first of its kind installed in the United States. A spiral freezer has also been integrated to help ensure product quality and freshness through efficient, consistent freezing.
In addition to the new production line, we are actively preparing the facility for future Line 3 and Line 6 expansion, including CO₂ refrigeration systems and expanded overhead utilities for water, air, gas, and power.
Beyond production capacity, the project continues to deliver key facility enhancements, including upgraded HVAC systems with high-efficiency rooftop units, utility and drainage improvements, structural reinforcement, and enhanced fire protection around critical equipment.
