Just a reminder to be patient when waiting on a contractor. Aside from the fact that yesterday was 102 degrees, making it a little challenging keeping the crews hydrated while avoiding anyone becoming overheated, most local contractors (roofing/siding/gutters, etc.) are still dealing with an incredible amount of storm damage from the last couple of months. It likely will take a longer to get over to provide an estimate for the regular replacement/new construction jobs that come up every day, as we work to repair the exterior of homes from the unexpected recent storms that have caused such extensive damage, that if not repaired, have the potential to cause even more damage for the homes affected, especially if water enters the homes. Paul is out looking at jobs today in the rain but lead time is definitely affected with the huge number of storm-damaged homes needing immediate attention. That being said, feel free to check in to get an idea of where we are, we will absolutely get to everyone waiting for work to be done on their homes. π
