Our 29th design-build project with United Excel. Looking forward to our continuing partnership into 2019 and beyond.

Our design-build team for our newly awarded clinic modernization project at Peterson AFB met this week at the base for the Charette to discuss the design. Our construction management teams, architects, initial outfitters, and engineers, as well as AFMSA and the USACE, all participated this week.

The objective of this 40,796 sf design-build initial outfitting project is to modernize the main clinic to provide a world-class facility.

Key partners include United Excel Design (architecture), Mill Creek LLC (initial outfitting), KAI Enterprises (MEP engineering), Professional Engineering Consultants (civil, structural design), Code Consultants, Inc. (fire protection design), Faith Group, LLC (low voltage design), Berwick Electric Co. (electric sub) and Rand Construction Company (mechanical sub).

This year marks CCI’s fifth year participating in the St. Louis Cardinals’ Homers for Heath and K’s for Kids program benefiting the patients and families at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. CCI employees pledged $14.50 per home run with an additional $500 flat donation and CCI pledged 0.25 per strikeout. The Cardinals hit 225 home runs this year (double what they’ve hit the last few years) and threw 1,290 strikeouts, making our total 2016 donation $4,085.00 and our five year total is $11,979.45. CCI and its employees look forward to participating again next year and challenges the AEC industry to participate.
