We're mixing things up for ESOP Month at POB! 🎉

Our Stevens Point office is keeping the celebrations going with a Build-Your-Own Snack Mix Bar!

A little something sweet, a little something salty, and a fun way to treat our employee-owners!

It's the little moments like these that bring our team together and make POB such a great place to work!

🎉 A New Chapter for Starr Elementary!

What an exciting day in Green Bay! Students, staff, and community members recently came together to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the brand-new Starr Elementary School!

Point of Beginning is proud to have been part of this exciting project, providing **site civil design services** for the new school development.

There's something special about seeing a project go from plans on paper to a place where students will learn, grow, and make memories for years to come!

A big congratulations to Green Bay Schools, Somerville Architects & Engineers, Nexus Solutions, and the entire project team on this incredible milestone!

We're grateful to have played a part in bringing this new space to life for the Green Bay community!

🎓 Engineering from the Ground Up!

We had a full house at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) this week!

Our Point of Beginning team had the opportunity to spend some time with nearly 40 students, sharing a little about who we are, what we do, and the exciting career opportunities in our industry!

From real-world projects to the important role engineering plays in the infrastructure around us, it was a great opportunity to give students a behind-the-scenes look at our industry.

A big thank you to MSOE, ASCE, and ITE for having us, and to all the students who joined us for lunch, asked great questions, and showed interest in what we do!

We always enjoy connecting with the next generation of engineers. The future is looking bright! 💙💛

October is Employee Ownership Month! 💙💛 And at Point of Beginning, we’re celebrating all month long!

We’re proud to be an employee-owned company, and what better way to celebrate than by recognizing the people who make POB what it is!

We’ve got something fun planned each week throughout October, and we kicked things off with an ESOP Month Morning Bar! Our teams gathered for breakfast, enjoyed some treats, and celebrated what it means to be an employee-owner.

As we celebrate 25 years of POB, this month is another opportunity to recognize the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that have helped us get to where we are today.

Because at POB, we’re not just building projects and relationships. We’re building a future together!

Yesterday, POB headed to Milwaukee School of Engineering to talk careers, engineering + what comes next after college!

We loved connecting with MSOE students, hearing about their career goals and sharing what it’s like to be part of POB’s multidisciplinary, employee-owned team right here in Wisconsin.

Thanks for having us, MSOE! We hope to see some familiar faces again soon.

Another great project we’re proud to have been a part of!

POB helped bring this project to life by designing the site, securing the necessary permits, + providing construction oversight from start to finish.

During the preliminary phase, our team also coordinated the process to vacate the existing Prospect Street right-of-way, making way for the new drop-off loop.

It’s always rewarding to see the finished project come together!

At Point of Beginning, we often say that great projects begin long before construction starts.

They begin with conversations. Questions. Community input. Planning for what a community needs today - and what it will need years from now.

Monday's groundbreaking for the new Kaukauna Middle School was an exciting milestone and a celebration of years of collaboration, vision, and teamwork. It's rewarding to see the planning and design efforts that have taken place behind the scenes give way to the next phase as construction officially begins.

We're proud to be part of the team helping bring this project to life and grateful to work alongside outstanding partners including Miron Construction Co., Inc., EUA, The Concord Group, Kaukauna Area School District and many others who have helped move this project from concept to reality.

Projects of this scale don't happen because of one organization - they happen when communities, school leaders, designers, engineers, and builders come together around a shared vision for the future.

Congratulations to the Kaukauna Area School District and all project partners on this exciting milestone. We look forward to watching this vision take shape and seeing the impact it will have on students, staff, and the community for generations to come.
