As a business owner, this week has been absolutely one of the toughest situations I have had to endure yet. Merely a week ago, I received a call that no one wants to recieve. One of our own had taken his last breath here on earth. Dustin was a vital part of the "big job" in Danville. He was a hard worker, always on time, and brought laughs to the job site, even if it was at his own expense. Every time I hear a Chris Stapleton song, my heart will be full of your memories. Fly high Dustin. Please know you will forever be missed at the DP job site.
This post would not be complete without mentioning Dustin's 5 buddies who currently work for DP. I thank God for the ability, patience, and knowledge to have been able to help these 5 boys through this difficult week. Skinny, Hunter, A.J., Jeremiah, and Leland...your work ethic this week has been unbelievable. You work hard for this company each week, but this week was different. I personally watched you come together and complete a 3 day job phase in a day. This week I have witnessed you cuss, sweat, bleed, show your anger, blare Dustin's favorite music, and most all come together for your "friend group". I couldn't be more proud to watch you boys this week come together not only at the job site, but after hours putting Dustin's truck back together in time for his funeral today. Thank you boys for giving me the opportunity to walk you through this difficult week. May we remember Dustin each day at DP.
