Another backyard upgrade completed by Arcola Post Frame & Construction.

For this project, we built a custom wall around the lower portion of the deck to create enclosed storage space for the homeowner. This turned an open, unused area under the deck into a cleaner, more functional space for storing outdoor furniture, yard tools, and seasonal items.

A simple upgrade that adds privacy, improves the look of the deck, and gives the customer more usable storage right where they need it.

Before the temperatures drop, here is the checklist we walk through on every autumn visit as part of our Arcola Home Care Concierge program:

Furnace filter & tune-up, smoke & CO detectors, sump pump, exterior inspection, water heater flush, dryer vent, water softener, basement moisture check.

Print this out, tape it to the fridge, and work through it this weekend. Each item takes 5-15 minutes. The cost of skipping them can be thousands.
