We are just now completing the second and final phase of the Shutts renovation on 8th floor downtown suite overlooking the Florida State Capitol building. This was a full demo and build-out from bare concrete ceiling and floor.

This was a fun project due to the satisfaction of looking at the final result!

SimplerBuilt just finished up a fun and fast fit-out for Addie B's Boutique in the Fresh Market shopping center. Lots of super cool kids clothes and gifts. Go see Sarah and support a new locally founded and operated business here in Tallahassee!

Sarah selected ALL of the finishes and layouts for this project and It all looks so good. She had the little playhouse in the back made to round out the decor.

SimplerBuilt is just now wrapping up a quick renovation for Delegal | Aubuchon's new downtown office. This was quick one that required upgrades and modernizing an existing suite on a fast timeline. We replaced all finishes (paint, carpet, countertops, wall base), and reconfigured the conference room to accommodate their huuuuuge conference room table.

We also added a glass wall in the new conference room as well as lobby upgrades.

The D | A team was a pleasure to work with!

The Filibuster

We completed this project for spring session and I wanted to share some pics. It is located below Hayward House (formerly Andrew's) on Adams downtown and is a super cool bar, eatery, and listening space. The owner asked Barnett Fronczak Barlowe & Shuler Architects if they could recommend a contractor willing to take a project on with a tight timeline and an somewhat out-of-the-norm aesthetic....we answered the call. It was a pleasure working with BFBSA, CDS (Adrianne) and Adam (owner).

The space was a previously unused lounge and we transformed it into the vision provided by the architect and designer.

The are open select hours with no closing time. It is a private club ($11.11 fee to join) and the proceeds from the fee go to good local causes.

The place is SUPER cool, go check it our for dinner or after-hours.

We recently completed the renovations to the new Acentria Insurance home office in Tallahassee. They asked us to also renovate their Live Oak office directly after...we typically only work in the Tallahassee metro area but made an exception for a good customer (who also handles our insurances).

The SimplerBuilt team just completed a downtown renovation that is outside of ordinary for Rubin Turnbull & Associates with spectacular views of the Capitol and a great skyline view of .

The space is 11,000 square feet and the notable upgrades include the work in the pics. It is fairly rare to have a large commercial space include such heavy design elements and it tuned out really nice.

Here is a little razzle-dazzle that we completed on a two-story commercial building on Duval St. in downtown with NAI TALCOR.

The building had some wall damage and old windows. We tore down the non-structural masonry walls, rebuilt with reinforcing steel, new storefront windows, new EIFS system on exterior, and then paint.

The before/after is remarkable. It turned out super nice.

Shumaker Advisors

We wanted to share a few pics from a recently completed job in downtown . The project consisted of layout changes, new construction, and a full renovation of the existing space on a 14th floor downtown with unobstructed Capitol views!

Our team worked closely with the Shumaker stakeholders to provide them with a new, fresh space for their firm (special shout out to Todd).

We recently completed renovations and finishes upgrades to the Florida Association of Court Clerks two story office building on Maclay Blvd. A few new offices, modern glass walls, new paint and flooring, wood trim, entry doors, new reception area, and many other small detail touches to modernize their space.

We completed the work with some employees in the building and coordinated the remainder to minimize impacts to staff. We utilized zero VOC paint and adhesives on all jobs to minimize odors and fumes.
