Every renovation has a leader helping turn plans into reality.
Meet Zack Anderson, Project Superintendent for our University of Tampa Chick-fil-A renovation.
With renovations, no two days are the same. Existing buildings often reveal unexpected challenges, making experience, adaptability, and attention to detail essential throughout the construction process.
We asked Zack what it's like managing a project like this.
What's been the biggest challenge?
"Some of the biggest challenges we face on this project are the unknowns. We discovered some issues during demolition that ultimately changed the shape of the project as a whole."
What's your favorite part of the project?
"Honestly, the challenge itself. Every obstacle presents a new opportunity to better meet our client's needs. They allow us to adapt to existing conditions and provide functional solutions."
What makes a successful renovation?
"The details. Understanding the client's needs, how the space will be used, and ensuring every piece of equipment has been thoughtfully planned. When all of those details come together, you create a space that's both functional and built to last."
At FWC, it's the people behind the projects who make the difference.
