Putting the thickest oil treatment I could find into my 1995 F150’s blown up engine to try and drive across South Tampa to it’s new home without sending a rod through the block.

Getting rid of my (third) 5.0 Ford Small Block to swap an OM606 into my 1995 F150.

I loved the motor while it lasted, but a bad coolant temp sensor led to the bearings getting fuel soaked last year, so we’re swapping a Mercedes Diesel in its place!

After months of planning, budgeting, and preparation, we are finally giving my old truck an engine it deserves!

Episode 1 of the Mercedes OM606 Turbodiesel swap in my 1995 F-150 is out now on YouTube! These episodes are being created to document, entertain, inform, and motivate both my friends, viewers and myself as I attempt to swap an OM606 diesel engine into my cherished 1995 F-150 that I bought for $750 back in 2019.

These episodes will not only be on video, but also receive blog posts and photos dedicated to highlighting some of the more specific details that I may have missed during the filming process, all with the goal of building my own personal brand and detailing how someone else can replicate the same engine swap I am attempting now.

I’m very excited that I am finally getting the chance to do this and am looking forward to sharing the process as we move along, stay tuned!

I recently started this brand as a side project to start creating some fun and simple merch ideas based on project cars I’ve owned over the years.

Though we have yet to hold an official ‘Hank’s Cars & Coffee’ the brand begins its life NOW!
