PolyOne Corporation

PolyOne Corporation Built in 1978 by CBS and started making vinyl to be used to make records in 1979. Plant was sold to BF Goodrich in 1984. It later was called the Geon company.

The name of the vinyl that BF Goodrich made was Geon Vinyl. Several years later the Geon Company bought many other vinyl compounding companies and changed the name to PolyOne Corporation.
