I spent three weeks researching contractors, reading reviews, and comparing about five different companies before making my decision, so choosing the right person was really important to me. I’m so glad I went with this company! From the start, his confidence and professionalism gave me peace of mind and made me feel like I was in good hands. Finding someone you feel comfortable trusting with your home isn’t always easy, and I really appreciated that reassurance throughout the process. I really feel like he went above and beyond what I had asked for. I would absolutely use him again for future projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. Safety isn’t just about getting the job done — it’s about getting it done the right way. 🦺

Concrete jobsites have a lot of moving parts — heavy machinery, equipment, materials, and plenty of potential blind spots. That’s why we take the extra time to stay aware of our surroundings, communicate with each other, and take every precaution we can to prevent injuries and keep everyone safe.

We also take pride in leaving your property better than we found it. We clean up after ourselves, remove unnecessary trash and materials, and leave you with a clean, organized jobsite.

I had recently moved into a house that needed a lot of concrete work. New driveway, new sidewalk and curbs, and some repairs to the back patio. I contacted Jake through his website and within a few hours he got back to me. He helped me with all my problems and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it a certain way. These guys are very professional and even called me to make sure I still liked everything even after they finished the job! I would highly recommend them.

Why is proper base so important before pouring concrete? 👇

Concrete should never be poured directly over grass or topsoil. Simply weed-eating the grass and pouring over it leaves organic material underneath that can decay, settle, and create voids.

A properly prepared and compacted base provides a stable foundation for the concrete, helps minimize settling and cracking, and allows the slab to perform the way it was designed.

The concrete is only as good as what’s underneath it. 🏗️

At Major Concrete Solutions, proper prep is just as important as the pour itself.
