Renovating part of an 1883 historic home in Smyrna's historic district was a particularly rewarding experience for us. The homeowners had long endured the frustration of a leaky roof, with repeated temporary fixes failing to provide a lasting solution. The roof's condition, as shown in the photos, was marked by widespread water accumulation, which had taken a significant toll on its structural integrity. This was just one of the many challenges we addressed in the course of the project.

Ultimately, our clients are thoroughly enjoying their newly renovated space, which is perfect for unwinding with a good book or a movie, and features a striking color-changing fireplace. We have just completed the finishing touches on a deck resurfacing and expansion project located in Bear. The customers originally built the deck and stage when they added the adjacent addition, as shown in the pictures. However, they sought to upgrade to composite decking and increase their outdoor entertainment space.

Our team successfully transformed the deck by installing Trex composite decking, widening the stairs leading to the patio for enhanced safety, replacing the old handrails with new PVC ones, and adding a 12x12 section that connects seamlessly to the main deck. Additionally, we installed a roof, providing the customers with a shaded area to relax and enjoy the sound of rain hitting the metal roof. The roof installation was made possible by specialized roof brackets obtained from Patio Roof Rizers. These innovative brackets simplify the process of adding a pergola or roof to a patio by allowing us to directly attach the brackets to the rafters or blocking.
