In most storm seasons, we lose about 100 poles. Last night’s storm took out 39 in just a few hours, leaving more than 9,000 customers without power. Our crews got to work immediately, working through the night, so by now, outages were reduced to about 170. There's still work to do and we appreciate our customers' patience as restoration work continues as safely and quickly as possible. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication of our field crews and other teams who show up, in all kinds of conditions, to keep our community powered.

Tonight's powerful monsoon storm damaged more than 25 poles in multiple areas, including many throughout the southside of town. Our crews have been working to restore service as safely and quickly as possible. Please watch for traffic restrictions, as there are lane closures along Park Avenue between Ajo and Irvington, as well as along other streets in the area. If you see a downed power line, do not go near it, touch it or drive over it. Instead, move away from the line and call 911. Please continue to follow our outage map for updates.
