The body of a stowaway has been found in the landing gear of an Air Arabia Maroc 🇲🇦 A320 upon arrival at London Gatwick 🇬🇧

The man was understood to have smuggled himself into the undercarriage of the Air Arabia Maroc aircraft before take-off from Tangier in Morocco.

Emergency services were called to Gatwick Airport on Tuesday after the body was found in the Airbus A320 at around 11.45am.

Casablanca-based Air Arabia Maroc said: "An incident was identified upon the arrival of Air Arabia Maroc Flight 3O102 from Tangier to London Gatwick on 16 June 2026, and the relevant authorities were immediately notified. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this incident. We remain in close coordination with the relevant authorities with regards to the investigation."

‼️ A Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300 (still with Indigo Livery) TC-LKD, struck a lighting pole while taxiing at the Antalya (AYT) airport of Turkiye.

The aircraft was operating flight TK2430 from Istanbul (IST) on 11 June.

Statement from TK : "Our Boeing 777 aircraft, registered as TC-LKD, which operated flight TK2430 from Istanbul to Antalya, made contact with the ground radar antenna pole with its right wing while maneuvering to the parking position at Antalya Airport. All 267 passengers on our aircraft have been safely evacuated, and we have received information that the health condition of one passenger who sustained minor injuries is good. A technical investigation regarding the incident has been initiated."
