When working on historic homes it’s essential to add character rather than take it away. Here we sourced 100 year old bricks from a demolished building. We found multiple ways to incorporate the material in and outside the home which has its own story to tell. On the three season porch we were able to salvage a beam from the renovated part of the home to give it a new life as a mantle.

It’s no secret that Covid-19 has changed how we all go about our business. With this second floor bathroom remodel the homeowners are occupying the space we are working in. In this town the inspectional services are unable to inspect occupied dwellings. With this external staircase we built now our project is sealed off from the rest of the home, keeping unnecessary contact to a minimum and importantly allowing the inspector to come and allow for the job to keep moving.
