Another fun project in the books! This 5x20 deck with a roof up in Boone turned out awesome. It’s always a good feeling taking a space like that and turning it into something both functional and good-looking that the homeowner can really enjoy.

With the deck being 5x20, it may not be huge, but it’s the perfect size for a clean, cozy setup—plenty of room to step out, relax, and enjoy the view. Adding the roof on top really takes it to the next level too. Not only does it give protection from the weather, but it makes the space usable year-round, whether it’s rain or shine.

From setting the posts and framing everything out, to tying in the roof system and getting it all solid and watertight, this one came together nicely. Getting everything to line up right—especially tying that roof into the structure clean and making sure water sheds properly—is where the details matter most.

All in all, another smooth build, another happy customer, and a great-looking deck and roof combo added to the portfolio!

Another one in the books! This 8x20 lean-to roof turned out great and was a fun project from start to finish. There’s just something satisfying about taking a simple structure like a lean-to and making it both functional and sharp-looking. This one adds some solid coverage and really ties the space together, giving the customer a clean, finished look while also providing protection from the elements.

From layout to framing to getting it all dried in, everything came together smoothly. Projects like this might seem straightforward, but getting the pitch right, tying it in properly, and making sure everything flows and sheds water the way it should is where the craftsmanship really shows.
