A new report from confirms what communities across New York have been experiencing for years: warehouse expansion is concentrating diesel truck pollution across the state in neighborhoods that are already overburdened.

Broadly, disadvantaged communities cover only 8% of New York State but contain 51% of its warehouses,

More than 13,000 New York children are diagnosed with asthma linked to NOx pollution annually and has resulted in almost $6 billion in health damages and more than 35,000 lost work days this year alone.

Theres still time! Urge New York leaders to address the harms caused by mega-warehouses and advance solutions that reduce pollution, protect public health, and ensure communities are no longer expected to bear an unfair share of the burden.

⏰ Time is running out.

The New York legislative session ends this week, and lawmakers still have an opportunity to advance two important bills that support cleaner air, healthier communities, and climate action:

✅ Clean Deliveries Act (S.1180C/A.3575C)
✅ C-PACE for Resiliency (S.1335B/A.5404B)

The Clean Deliveries Act would help reduce pollution from mega-warehouses in communities across NYS burdened by poor air quality, while C-PACE for Resiliency would expand access to financing for energy, water, and resilience improvements in buildings across New York.

Take action today by sending a letter to Assembly Speaker Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins urging them to bring these bills to the floor for a vote.

📣 Double your impact by making a quick phone call, too.

New Yorkers deserve clean air, healthier neighborhoods, and continued progress on climate solutions. Let's make these final days of session count.

🌞 Advocates, community members, and lawmakers came together to support the ASAP Act today at the Capitol steps!

This legislation would help New York build more affordable, reliable clean energy faster.

The ASAP Act would:

⚡ Expand rooftop and community solar across New York
⚡ Modernize outdated utility interconnection processes
⚡ Continue the successful NY-Sun program
⚡ Lower costs and shorten timelines for clean energy projects

The result? Cleaner air, lower energy bills, stronger local economies, and thousands of good-paying jobs across the state.

Albany has the chance to push NY towards energy affordability and stability, away from volatile fossil fuel dependence.

New York’s climate law was designed to cut pollution, lower costs, and move us toward a cleaner, more affordable energy future.

recently proposed changes that could move us in the opposite direction by creating loopholes that keep us locked onto fossil fuels for decades to come.

Here’s what’s at stake:

• Changing how methane is measured will undermine its real world impact

• Ignoring pollution from imported gas from other states lets major emissions go unchecked

• Treating biofuels as “zero emissions” could increase pollution, not reduce it

At the same time, we know what works: Clean energy is already delivering savings for households and creating jobs across the state.

The path forward is clear, stand up for energy affordability and cleaner air. Don’t roll it back NY's Climate Law.

🚀 Skyrocketing gas prices have reached Kingston, New York.

New York already has a solution— it's NY's Landmark Climate Law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). Implemented, the CLCPA requires NY to move towards cleaner more affordable energy like wind and solar.

Clean, renewable, local energy is a clear path to lower energy prices that will can protect NY from volatile energy costs, at the pump and in your home, tied to vollitile fossil fuel prices dependant on global markets.

But now, is intending to gut NY’s Landmark Climate Law with changes that could lock us into decades of further fossil fuel dependence.

✊ We need your help! We need our legislators to hold the line and defend New York’s climate law.
