We are thrilled to be working with the Argonauts in our old stomping grounds - the Pacific Northwest! This expedition explores how technology can help support and further conservation efforts. Argos will get hands-on experience with the proccess of science while using some of the latest tech to gather and interpret data. We can't wait!

Right now, we’re reviewing all the applications, and we’ll announce the 2025 Argonauts in the next few weeks.

This summer, we’ll head to the Pacific Northwest with The Bug Chicks to explore how technology, like AI, is reshaping conservation efforts. 🌲🌊

Portland’s stunning mix of mountains, oceans, deserts, and volcanoes will provide the perfect backdrop for hands-on learning and design thinking in one of the world’s most unique ecosystems. 🌋

Join us on Saturday October 5th at Pyramid Hill! Learn about the amazing world of arthropods and how they've impacted human art and culture. We'll wrap with a great STEAM art project with artist Jo Whaley!

The Bug Chicks have opened up a few more spots in their workshop this weekend so more people can join in on the fun!
Learn about the incredible world of arthropods (bugs!) and how they have inspired human expression! We will explore the biology and behavior of these often-misunderstood animals and explore how these animals have influenced art and design. You'll get to meet a live arthropod zoo and even touch, pet, or hold some of our arthropod ambassadors. Then, create your own bug-inspired artwork with the help of artist Jo Whaley

Hey Seattle teachers! We will be in town *early* for Geek Girl Con this year and have Friday Nov 8 open for school assembly programs.

They’re interactive and we bring digital scopes so students can get up close views of our live arthropod zoo!
