Lenders want to know if the manufactured home was properly installed and the foundations, piers and anchorage systems do not compromise the structural integrity of the house. Poor installation practices may lead to multiple

Permanent foundations must be constructed of durable materials; i.e. concrete, mortared masonry, or treated wood – and be site-built. It shall have attachment points to anchor and stabilize the manufactured home to transfer all loads to the underlying soil or rock. The permanent foundation must be structurally certified by a a licensed engineer for the following:

The wind zone where your home is placed
The dimensions of your home
The spacing of the beams on the steel frame of your home
The type of soil where your home is placed
The height from the ground anchor to the steel strap attachment point
