Was very pleased with the results from this coquina seawall repair! Came in and removed St. Augustine grass that was encroaching the canal and laid down a filter fabric, a layer of crushed coquina, and then placed large coquina with a mini-ex to eliminate the washouts and loss of yard for this homeowner. They were "lagoon-friendly" folks and wanted to continue the use of the living shoreline as opposed to installing a new vinyl seawall. Homeowner had a good idea to place a strip of edging down since they had strong surface runoff in order to keep everything in place longer an avoid grass clippings from polluting the lagoon. They were pleased to have chosen Baker Marine Constuction for their seawall needs!

Wrapped up a cool one last week where we opened the boat house up for an easier approach from the canal and beefed up the lift to make room for the homeowners new boat. Sometimes you can make adjustments to what you already have in order to achieve the same goal. The christening of the Levi Ray was an incredible evening, celebrating with friends and family. This rig will allow us to get things done faster, safer, and most importantly with less impact to our surroundings through a battery powered hydraulic motor. With a 3,000 lbs lift capacity, plenty of deck space, 3 spuds, and twin motors, this beauty can get it done. Looking forward to all the endeavors ahead!
