Stanfield Metalworks is looking to hire another welder. Pay will be based off of skill level, not experience . We primarily build railing but also do custom fabrication and structural work.

This is not a welding-only position. You will measure, cut, fit, weld, grind, and clean.

If you are too good to sweep the floor, this is not the job for you.

If you are no good before 8 A.M., this is not the job for you.

If you know everything about everything, this is not the job for you.

If you smoke, sniff, inject, or consume drugs in any other manner, this is not the job for you.

If you can’t back a trailer or strap down a load, this is not the job for you.

If you previously welded top secret titanium parts for space shuttles at NASA for $300k a year, this is not the job for you.

If you don’t like to sweat, this is not the job for you.

If you run out of gas or lunch money by Tuesday and need to borrow some, this is not the job for you.

If you can’t take care of the boss’s tools and equipment, this is not the job for you.

If you feel that all of your previous employers were idiots, this is not the job for you.

If your page looks like a Jerry Springer episode, this is not the job for you.

If you can’t be within 3000 feet of a school, this is not the job for you.

If your haircut/haircolor makes elderly people mumble under their breathe, this is not the job for you.

If seeing jobsite materials or tools unguarded makes you want to commit a felony, this is not the job for you.

If you are an honest individual, want to work with honest people, and want to do an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay, this could be the job for you.

Your job interview will consist of drawing and labeling a tape measure down to 16th’s and fabricating an object from scratch.
