What we offer:
Crystal Clear Custom Services provides full service, 24/7 snow and ice management in Ellensburg, WA. With a fleet of equipment including truck plows, skidsteer plows, sidewalk machines, and ice-melt equipment, our team efficiently clears snow and ice to provide safe travel conditions during winter storms. We are seeking safe, detailed, and honest Snow Removal Operators to join our team. With less than 10% of time spent shoveling, machine operation is required, and experience operating some type of equipment is preferred.
The Snow Removal Operator is a part-time, temporary position during snow events from October 1st, 2023, to April 30th, 2024. The schedule is variable depending on snow events, but often spans from 1:00am through the day. Consecutive days may be required depending on the size of the storm. There are no guaranteed hours as it depends on the weather, but most winters average 5-10 snow events with full season operators averaging 70 work hours.
Please list any previous snow removal and equipment operation experience when you apply.
Applicants located in lower Kittitas County are preferred.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate plow equipment to clear snow and/or ice
• Shovel as needed
Requirements
• At least 18 years old
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Able to pass drug screening and background check
• Willing to work nights and up to 16 hour shift if needed during winter storms
• Flexible schedule with availability during early morning and daytime if needed
Skills
• Able to work as a team or individually as needed
• Clear and professional communication
• Able to work with smartphones and tablets
• Attention to detail
• Safely operate equipment as instructed
Benefits
• $23+ per hour DOE
• Safe Driver bonus up to an additional $7 per hour
• Attendance bonus up to an additional $7 per hour

Be extremely careful if you are going out this morning. The ground was "super cooled" by all the low temps we had and now with this continuous light rain we are having there are areas that are very slick!

-Job duties include removing snow from sidewalks and parking lots using shovels, sidewalk machines, trucks, and heavy equipment.
-Previous experience with snow removal or operating equipment is preferred. Please list any prior equipment operation experience when you apply.
-Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and a working cell phone.
-Pay is $22.50/hr plus up to $6/hr safety bonus.
