Must be able to pass background check.

All supplies provided by us, cleaning equipment, chemicals, trash bags, paper etc.

Pay is per job.

Daytime approx 3 hours work. Flexible start times around 9-11am.
5 days per week.

Day porters needed for Siesta Key Village.

We are a contractor for Sarasota County and have the contract responsible for the Village cleaning and maintenance.

We need 2 people to work together each work day

Work Days :
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Off : Tuesdays and Thursdays

Work Hours :
6:30am - 11am

4.5 hours per day x 5 Days per week = 22.5 hrs per week each.
The position pays $14 / Hour.

Duties :
Use the pushcart provided to go from the north end of the village limit all the way to the south limit changing all the trash cans and recycling cans and replacing them with new liners.

Blow all the streets down with the blower provided.

Use the litter picker to remove any loose trash in walkways.

Disinfect all benches, bike racks, drinking fountains, newspaper stands, map kiosks, and trash can lids, removing any stickers along the way.

Wash down the gazebo area with a hose & water supplied right by the gazebo.

General maintenance and upkeep of the village!

Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 40lbs trash bags and push the trash cart that is on wheels but can get heavy once it is loaded with trash.

The dumpster is in the parking lot to offload the trash cart as much as needed.

This position would suit physically fit and healthy active people who loves being outdoors.
