Just finished up the last little bit of window caulking and chinking on this restoration I started last fall I wanted to wait until the windows were all replaced and trimmed out before I took my after shots...lots of log rot due to improper original window installation so we decided on a color change it's still going to get a new roof and soffits will be rebuilt and replaced this summer

Adventures in plumbing!!! I am shocked this didn't break years ago I broke the main line when I hit a root on a 30+" tree stump...this was a straight 3/4 PVC line it broke in the middle of one of the couplers...I should have taken a picture of it before I cut the coupler out...I made one additional cut to add the offset fitting and had to install a 90 to make it work...the root system stretched the pipe that far...the pipe is also only 12" below grade...sometimes I do miss codes and inspections...and whoever ran this pipe ran it around two what are now 80' tall mature trees one of which was 10' off the corner of the house & this pipe goes around the outside of the tree instead of between the tree and the house...I honestly have a new found respect for the sheer strength of schedule 40 PVC I never thought I'd ever have

Small bathroom in complicated basement remodel finally done...this job was a challenge as the home was probably built in the early 70's DIY remodeled in the early 80's then suffered water damage due to a collapsed main drain line...but in the end it's now done and better than it ever was
