So, another middle of night / clear my brain post….
Got up for my usual bladder reasons, but this time I can’t just lay back down.
Spent 3 hours in an education class yesterday learning everything about kidney transplants, short of how to perform the procedure on my own.
I know thousands have dealt with what is now my reality, but somehow, I feel like it’s something no one should ever experience and that I’m the first.
I’ve already beaten cancer, survived divorce, and dealt with the gut-wrenching loss of beloved family and friends over years…. So, why is this the first time I’ve lost sleep over my own mortality ??
Maybe, just maybe, everything else I was able to handle alone.
This time I can’t.
It’s not my nature to ask for help. Time to swallow my pride.
They tell me Anyone can be a Kidney Donor these days. No perfect match necessary.
If you’re interested, you just follow the link below and fill in a few lines.
You just designate a recipient, and even if you don’t match, the recipient will be credited with your donation and another donor will be found.
Simple, until you stop and Realize that with just a few simple lines filled in, you have
JUST SAVED ANOTHER PERSON’S LIFE.

I’m sending this to everyone I can think of in Peoria, Oak Park, St. Vincent de Paul and Ascension Parishes, Fenwick High School and Camp Shin-Go-Beek Alumni and old time Scouters, Clients, Family and Friends, hoping Someone may be interested enough to explore the link.
PLEASE consider passing it on to everyone in your social media.
I KNOW many, many, many others have it worse in this world, and that this is just a twig to step over in my journey, so I promise I am NOT asking for sympathy, Just prayers, and a few minutes to review the link.
My God Bless. Time to go Back to Bed. Goodnight.
