Retreat on West Point Lake - Where homes are more than a place to offer shelter from the elements, rather they are alive and part of the dense landscape offering a welcome sense of privacy. Retreat’s mentality is not to maximize our footprint of the land, but rather to continue as thoughtful stewards of a landscape that Mother Nature has nourished all these years. It creates a sense that the outdo

ors is simply an extension of your home, with miles of hiking and biking trails and recreational areas ideal fortimeless family activities. With gracious home sites exceeding one acre in size, each carefully planned building site is designed to enable access to the lake while blending in with the undulating topography and dense tree canopy. The 479 acres of Retreat on West Point Lake is wrapped by 295 acres of old growth forest and rolling terrain offering a protective buffer against outside intrusions and enabling a welcome sense of privacy to homeowners. Beyond the spacious home sites and majestic forest lies 26,000 acres of pristine waters waiting to be explored along Retreat's 8 miles of shoreline. Each new home site purchase includes your own covered boat slip located in one of the community docks. Connecting the dock system, trail permits have been obtained from the Corps of Engineers allowing for an extensive trail system to meander thru the dense forest that wraps Retreat. Retreat's trail system is the only one of its kind on West Point Lake. Home sites start at $39,000. The above in formation is deemed reliable. Prices and terms are subject to change.

The owner and builder worked with Retreat’s Design Review Board to maintain the native vegetation in the undisturbed areas of the individual home site. This allows for homes to blend more naturally into the surroundings. Our goal from the street with the landscape design is to make the house feel as if it is nestled in the natural environment. Natural areas which disturb less of the existing vegetation are encouraged.

Wow! Look at Kathy enjoying the brand new Coca Cola retro bar stools at Charlie Joseph's on Bull Street today. The seats swivel and look fantastic and you even sit up a little higher. They give you a whole new perspective on eating the best hot dogs and hamburgers in town. Stop by and see the gang and try them out.
