Established in 1940, White’s Steel can assist you with all of your structural steel and ornamental iron projects - from remodels and tenant improvements to new homes, multi-story commercial buildings, schools and even stadiums. We specialize in high end custom homes with complex curves. We are California licensed for Structural Steel (C51) and Ornamental Metals (C23), and certified by the City of

Los Angeles as an approved fabricator. We have our own installation crews and certified welders and operate our own cranes. Emergency crane service is also available. We serve the Coachella Valley and Southern California including Imperial, San Diego, Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, Los Angeles Counties and beyond.

Custom balcony rails going in at The Skyline Project in downtown Indio.

This install features a highly custom rail design built specifically for the project, with a lot of detail going into both the fabrication and fit-up on site.

Always a different process when every section needs to line up clean while still keeping the overall look consistent across the building.

Stairs are up next on this one.

Custom bookshelf built for the boss’s office using our new press brake and plasma table.

Designed by our shop foreman and built to fit the overall look and feel of the office space.

The red oxide primer insert ties in with the same primer we use throughout the shop, which gave this one a clean industrial finish without overdoing it.

A solid in-house project that put some of the newer equipment to work.

Throwback to our work on the Bighorn Cafe project out at The Living Desert.

This was one of those projects where a lot of different elements had to come together cleanly to fit the overall space and setting.

Solid coordination, steady progress, and a lot of attention to detail throughout the process.

Good work by the crew on this one from start to finish.

A look back at some of the work we did out at Cotino last year.

We were involved in multiple buildings across the development, including steel work for one of the restaurant spaces.

A mix of projects with a lot of moving parts and different scopes throughout the build-outs.

Builds like this take steady coordination all the way through.

Another track garage build out at Thermal Raceway.

We’re in the early stages of the project as steel starts going in and the structure begins coming together. Still plenty left to do, but the progress is moving fast on this one.

We’ll share another update once it’s closer to completion.

Last week, the team spent some time in Atlanta at the NASCC conference.

A good chance to get out of the day to day, see what’s new across the industry, and connect with others in steel. Always something to take back to the shop.

Finished custom cable rail install at a track house garage out at Thermal Raceway.

This one features a larger 3/8” cable, giving it a more bold, defined look than your typical rail system.

First time running this size both inside on the stairs and outside on the deck, which helps carry a consistent feel across the space.

Not your standard setup, but it fits the build and the setting out there.
