These 70-foot beams headed out early with a pilot car for a project that includes eight beams of this size, making for a challenging delivery and installation from start to finish.

Working within an existing building meant there was no straightforward way in. The roof had to be opened so our crane could lift each beam into place after they were rolled through the structure on the floor.

A lot of planning went into this one, but it’s always rewarding to see everything come together.

Here’s a look back at our work on the operating room remodel at JFK Hospital. Completed in phases, the project modernized each OR while allowing the hospital to continue operating throughout construction.

Our scope supported the new overhead equipment systems, moving equipment from floor carts to ceiling-mounted towers for a cleaner, more efficient workspace.

Projects like these require careful coordination every step of the way, especially in an active healthcare environment.

Last week we shared the structural steel. Here’s a look at the finishing touches.

For the Golden Triangle project, our ornamental department fabricated and installed a custom industrial picket fence along with two rolling gates to complete the perimeter.

The Skyline stairs are officially going in.

We’ve started installing the second of four stair systems this week, and it’s been good to see all the fabrication from the shop making its way into the building.

These stairs span four floors and took a lot of coordination from layout and fabrication to getting everything set in the field. One step closer to the finish line on this project.

What’s best part of fabrication? Seeing it leave the shop and head to the job site.

Every load that goes out is different. Templates first. Then the next loads are columns and beams, decking, stairs and fence panels.

Our shipping department has the challenge of making sure each load is complete, accurate and organized, ready for the next phase once it arrives on site.
