Summer in Texas doesn’t mess around.

When you’re on location in August, every single damn thing is hot. The iron is hot. The trucks are hot. The dust is hot. (Our products are hot, too, but that might just be due to our impressive track record.)

Let’s hear it from the field: how are you beating the heat on site? Drop your best heat-survival tricks in the comments.

Meet Danny Gozdick, one of our technical field supervisors serving Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Danny spends his days moving between frac sites and gas well sites, supporting customers, troubleshooting tools, and helping crews get answers fast. With 20+ years in pipeline infrastructure before joining Repeat Precision, he brings a truckload of field experience to every job.

Off the clock, Danny is usually on the boat with his wife and two dogs, camping near Slippery Rock, or travelling to lakes and rivers around the country.

Have a question for Danny? Drop it in the comments.

There’s a reason operators ask for PurpleSeal™ by name, and it’s not just the purple rubber.

The real deal PurpleSeal™ is built for repeatable isolation and reliable performance across thousands of stages. It’s the plug behind some of our biggest wins, and it’s top of the class because of its:

🟣 Repeatable seal that holds when pressure matters
🟣 Quick-drillable design that keeps cleanout moving
🟣 Patented rubber element backup to prevent casing erosion damage
🟣 Anti-preset features for more dependable runs
🟣 Proven track record across every major basin

Still not convinced? Find out why you should add PurpleSeal™ to your completion: https://www.repeatprecision.com/tools/purpleseal-composite-frac-plug?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=product_post&utm_campaign=aug_2026

We love problem-solving out in the field. In fact, we’re the first ones to buy a beer for the guy who MacGyvers a fix using only a crescent wrench and three zip ties.

But we also know you can avoid plenty of field fixes when you take five minutes to read the pumpdown guidelines. They exist because somebody took the time to handle the testing and field learning for you, and they’re a proven recipe for success.

We don’t get why some operators would risk that success by going rogue, but we’d like to know. If you’re ignoring the pumpdown guidelines and doing it your own way, tell us why down in the comments.

100,000 FracSure Express runs feels like something to write home about.

We built the FracSure Express to make plug-and-perf operations faster and easier by pairing the PurpleSeal™ frac plug and PurpleSet™ setting tool into one combined, ready-to-run string.

That means fewer loose parts, fewer compatibility headaches, less onsite redress, and a tool string that shows up ready to run. And after 100,000 runs, that’s a helluva lot of time saved.

Simul frac. Trimul frac. Everybody talks about the efficiency gains, but fewer people talk about what it actually takes to pull these operations off.

In our latest article, we break down how simultaneous fracturing works, and why operators are using it to complete more wells in less time. We also explain why logistics, geology, and planning still make or break the job.

Pumping two or three wells at once can save serious time, but only if the rest of the operation can keep up.

Meet Josh Pentin, our Appalachia Operations Manager and HSE Coordinator.

Josh has been in oil and gas since 2013 and has been part of the Repeat Precision crew for nearly eight years. With a field-first background, he knows what crews need on location and helps keep operations, logistics, customer support, and safety moving in the right direction.

Off the clock, Josh is usually outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, playing hockey, or spending time with his growing family.

We’re lucky to have Josh helping lead operations and keep the crew moving.

The StageSaver is your always-ready contingency plan, built directly into the plug.

While some stage-saving tools depend on more steps, more movement, and more things going right at the worst possible time, the PurpleSeal™ StageSaver starts closed.

That means it doesn’t need perfect conditions to work as promised. Instead, it’s ready for everything that makes your operation go sideways, from screen-outs to misruns and everything in between.

When you need it, that one extra feature – added to the industry’s best frac plug – makes a very expensive problem a whole lot smaller. Get more info about the StageSaver: https://www.repeatprecision.com/tools/stagesaver?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=product_post&utm_campaign=jul_2026

Every few years, someone decides the next big thing in frac plugs is making them shorter.

We get it. Smaller sounds simpler. (And probably costs less to make.) But frac plugs can only get so short before physics steps in.

You still need a real rubber element package, proper anchoring, and top and bottom slips that do their job. We’ve been down this road before, and our humble opinion is that short plugs just don’t work.

But we want to know what you think, too. Does size matter when it comes to frac plugs? Let us know in the comments.

Lately we’ve been hearing some sobering feedback from the field, and we want to acknowledge it:

- Our team responds too fast.
- Our tools are too easy to run.
- Our service guys are too willing to help.
- Our products show up when they’re supposed to.
- We keep making other vendors look painfully slow.

We understand how frustrating this must be for everyone who enjoys waiting on callbacks. We know you’d much rather sit around, wondering if anyone is planning on coming to location today.

Unfortunately, we’re not planning to fix it. If you’d like to register your complaints, please leave a comment and we'll get our best people on it.
