Folks,

If you are looking for a builder or contractor, stop at a project and ask the owners/clients how the project is going.

There are contractors out there that give the industry a bad name.

Remember the rules:
DO NOT pay money upfront. ever.
DO NOT make the final payment until the job is complete.
Make sure you receive lien waivers from the contractors and vendors that worked or provided materials for your project.

ATTENTION!!! Those looking to have contractors do work on your home. DO NOT give any company or individual money up front. Three very close homeowners we could not do work for because of distance or scheduling have been cheated out of their deposit by other contractors...some a VERY SUBSTANTIAL amount of money. There are ways to protect everyone in the building process.
