Due to the approaching hurricane, Rescue Air is closing operations with hopes to reopen on Thursday, October 10th. This will be dependent on both the weather and power outages.

Our staff will be using this time to prepare their homes and families to ride out the storm.

All appointments for Tuesday and Wednesday have been canceled. We wish all of you good luck and good health. Stay safe & dry!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

NEW PHONE SYSTEM
Keith humbly started this business with an old ambulance and a cell phone. He worked 7 days a week to get established & it was a little easier for him to respond to calls during that time.

Thousands of calls later, we realized we had to update our phone system to better serve you. Now when you call, there is a prompt system to direct your call to the appropriate person who is best able to assist you. Please listen to those prompts.

TEXTING
Unfortunately, to implement this new system properly, effective September 2nd, 2024, texting the office number will no longer be available. (You can still text respond through our computer generated system.)
We know this will be an inconvenience to some, but the truth is, Keith can no longer keep up with the volume of texts he receives.

MESSENGER: We ask that service calls be made through our phone number and not facebook, please. 941-456-9800.

We sincerely thank you for all the support you have given us the last several years and we appreciate your understanding. We look forward to providing you continued excellent service for all your air conditioning needs.

Due to flooding in various areas, we are operating on an emergency only basis. This status may remain in effect over the next couple of days as we review how the Myakkia & Peace River respond to all this rain. Here are some tips if your thermostat goes blank or AC can’t keep up.

1. Check to see if your breaker has tripped.
2. Check your thermostat batteries.
3. Change your filter.

While we generally recommend clearing your drain, it is NOT safe to do so today, lightening, rain and vacuums do not mix! We prefer our customers, alive.

Call us if none of that works, if we can get there short of using a boat, we will endeavor to do so.

I will be back in the office Tuesday morning to catch up on non emergency calls, as Bill is handling absolute emergency calls today.

Thank you, stay safe and dry.
