Proud of Angie and Brian for volunteering with Flags for the Fallen this week.

Thank you to the Military Veteran Project for the opportunity to help honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day weekend as we remember and reflect. đŸ‡ș🇾

A heartfelt thank you to Angie and Brian from Winston BrownïżŒ in Topeka for taking the time to volunteer during our Flags for the Fallen / Flags Forward efforts.

Memorial Day is about honoring those who gave everything for our country, and seeing members of our community step forward to help ensure no veteran is forgotten means more than words can express.

Thank you both for serving alongside the Military Veteran Project and helping us honor the fallen, unite the living, and inspire the next generation. đŸ‡ș🇾

Great design doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from seeing, touching, and understanding the details before decisions are made.

Our team recently visited J. Thomas Home in Olathe to explore their floating shelves, custom mantels, and integrated lighting options.

Spaces like this matter. They give our clients the ability to experience materials and craftsmanship firsthand, so the decisions we make together are confident and intentional.

It’s part of how we guide our clients through the design process, connecting them with the right resources to bring their vision to life.

Creating beautiful spaces is easy to dream about.

Bringing them to life takes skill, precision, and pride in the work.

For over 51 years, Winston Brown has built a reputation on doing things the right way.

We’re not standing still, we’re raising the bar.

We’re continuing to invest in our team and elevate the level of work we deliver.

We’re proud of the finished spaces we create, but this is what it really takes.

Precision. Attention to detail. Loyalty to the team. Creativity. Dedication to doing it right.

Our remodel team is growing, and we’re looking for craftsmen who take ownership, notice the details, and take pride in what they build.

If these photos excite you, there’s a good chance you belong here.

This isn’t for everyone.

If it is for you, let’s talk.

We require our field crew to take end-of-day progress photos for every project.

It’s not just for documentation, it’s how we keep our project management team aligned and our homeowners informed, especially when they’re away.

Clear communication. Daily accountability. No surprises.

And sometimes
our team takes those photos to the next level. Insta worthy 😂

We don’t usually jump on trends, but this one made us laugh. Sorry AI, when it comes to your home, the details still require humans. Experience, judgement, craftsmanship and care. That’s what makes the difference.

Winter storm warnings are a good reminder of how important it is to truly love where we live!

This basement space was transformed into a place meant to be used and enjoyed. We took over unfinished space and updated existing space to add a theater room, a custom bar with under-shelf lighting, and layered lighting details throughout. Working closely with the homeowners, our team helped bring their ideas to life and create a space that reflects how they wanted to live in their home.

From the client’s vision of the ceiling treatment over the pool table to the illuminated entry and theater room, every detail was designed with intention.

Great design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about how it supports the way you live on snow days, quiet nights, and everything in between.

That feeling that your home could work better? That’s usually where great project ideas start.

Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy being home this weekend!

Homes should evolve as life does.

As families grow.
As seasons change.
As kids arrive, leave, return.
As life shifts in ways we plan for, and ways we don’t.

She didn’t call asking for a construction company.
She called with a dream.

A garage that no longer fit her life, and a desire for a space that could support how she lives now, a place for family to gather, spread out, linger longer, and feel at home together.

Our first step wasn’t talking about walls or finishes.
It was listening.

How would the space be used?
Who would be in it?
What did it need to feel like when you walked through the door?

Beautiful spaces can be created anywhere.
But meaningful design is personal, shaped by the homeowner, their season of life, and the feeling and function the space needs to hold.

What was once a garage is now a space filled with fires lit, s’mores made, long Thanksgiving afternoons, and family staying longer than they used to. Even the dogs have claimed their favorite chairs, stretched out and watching the world outside. The homeowner told us “I spend almost every day here” and that's why we do what we do.

Trust is what we build, along with spaces that grow with you and support the moments that matter most.

If you are dreaming of a new space in 2026, we'd love to help make it a reality.
