Today we celebrate the opening of the Rev. Dr. Robert B. Cayton Aurora Center, a project that represents far more than a new building.

Constructed by A.R. Chesson Construction, this new 5,000-square-foot facility will expand access to GED and English language classes while providing workforce training opportunities for Nutrien employees, contractors, and residents throughout southern Beaufort County.

Projects like this strengthen communities by creating opportunities for education, workforce development, and economic growth close to home. We are grateful to Beaufort County Community College, the Town of Aurora, JKF Architecture, and all of the partners who trusted us to help bring this vision to reality.

Congratulations to everyone involved on today's ribbon cutting. We look forward to seeing the impact this center will have for generations to come.

Progress is coming along on our new Emergency Management Training Operations Center. (EMTOC)
Project start date was 5/19/2025 and Completion date 7/18/2026.
We are 73% completed!
Once completed, this will house our Emergency Management, EMS and 911 Communications.
