Join us in congratulating our very own Mitch Smith, Senior Preconstruction Manager, on being honored as part of Top 40 Under 40 in Construction – Class of 2026! 👏

Members of the Fite team gathered last week to celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Although Mitch is relatively new to Fite, he has already made a meaningful impact through his leadership and work on projects such as the Elmore County Jail. He leads with humility, reflects our values, and has quickly become an important part of our team.

We are proud of you, Mitch, and excited to see all that you will continue to accomplish!

We’re excited to officially welcome Abraham Roman to the Fite team as an Assistant Project Manager!

Abraham is no stranger to Fite, having completed two internships with us where he gained experience both in the field and on the project management side. After experiencing Fite’s culture and community firsthand, Abraham knew he wanted to begin his career with a team that felt like family.

A 2026 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Auburn University, Abraham earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Science. Originally born in California, he has called Decatur home since he was four years old.

Outside of work, Abraham enjoys watching and playing football, going to the gym, spending time with his Great Pyrenees, Bailey, and attending Decatur Baptist Church.

We’re glad to have Abraham back at Fite and look forward to seeing him grow in this new role. Welcome to the team, Abraham!
