We are a family-owned company with 25+ years of experience providing medical equipment and supplies to children and adults with special needs in South Carolina. In 2000, Palmetto Seating and Mobility was started because there was a desperate need for a durable medical equipment provider in the area. Mark and Dana Mitchell, parents of a daughter with cerebral palsy, started the business and continue to serve special needs children and adults in the area. We provide customized wheelchairs, standing frames, gait trainers, adaptive strollers, adaptive toys, bath and shower chairs and much much more! We also provide medical supplies such as incontinence and enteral supplies. All of this is provided with compassion, empathy, lots of experience and most of all love! We hope that you will contact us should the need for our products arise. We would love to serve you.

Meet Brad! 👋🏻

We’re a little late introducing him, but we’re excited to officially welcome Brad to the Palmetto Seating & Mobility team! Brad has been with us for the past few months as a DME Technician at our Anderson branch, working in our Equipment Department.

Outside of work, Brad is a proud husband to his high school sweetheart and a father of six. Before joining Palmetto, he spent 20 years in law enforcement, where he developed the patience and resilience he brings into everyday life. These qualities are especially meaningful in his role as a father to children with special needs.

We’re so glad to have Brad on our team and look forward to seeing all he continues to bring to Palmetto Seating! 💜
